Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Manuscript

Submission The manuscript submitted in the form of softcopy by using OJS (Open Journal System) through https://rekanakuntanprofesional.com/index.php/jambi. The manuscript submission also attached to the complete curriculum vitae of author and manuscript form refers to the following instruction below:


Writing Instruction

The manuscript should be a double-spaced minimum of 15 pages, and a maximum of 20 pages is already included abstract and bibliography/reference, paper size A4, font Book Antiqua 12 pts except for illustration (table, chart, figure, etc.) font size 10 pts. For editing, all the manuscript (including table, figure, and equation) should write in a form that can be edited by an editor (Word Document).

General Writing Style

The manuscript for publication of JAMBI: Jurnal Akuntansi Manajemen dan Bisnis Islam (Journal of Finance and Banking) could be study and application of theory, research, conceptual ideas, literature reviews, reviews of new books, bibliographic, and practical writing related to finance and banking science. The manuscript can be written in Indonesia Language or English Language in the form of an essay (published in the Indonesia or English Language), include the subheadings in each part, except introduction which shown without subheading. Ranked of subheading expressed with a different typeface and without subheading. The writing style is narrative, with minimizing of using table, figure, and equation.

Systematics of Manuscript

Conceptual systematics of manuscript consist of: title, authors name (without academic title), address where the manuscript wrote, address for correspondence (contact number, facsimile, and email), abstract, keywords, JEL classification, introduction (without subheading), main review (divided into subheadings), conclusion, and references. Systematics research manuscript consists of the title, authors name (without academic title) address where the result of research done, address for correspondence, abstract, keywords, JEL classification, introduction (without subheading) hypotheses development (optional), methods, results, discussion, conclusion, suggestions, and references. The following instruction for each part of the manuscript and another way which needs to consider to the writing of the manuscript.

Title
Maximum consist of 14 words.

Author Data

Consist of the full name without academic title and abbreviation, the name of author affiliations institution and complete address (including ZIP code), address for corresponding author (telephone, facsimile, and e-mail).

Abstract

Writing in English with 150-200 words (also include in Indonesia), consist of 1 paragraph. Abstract for research manuscript contains the purpose of research, methods, an important finding, and conclusions. Abstract for study article/ conceptual contains a summary of the overall content of the full article with idea inferred.

Keywords

Writing in English with 3-6 phrases. Keywords contain words or phrases which often used for manuscript and considered to represent and or related to the topic. Writing in alphabetical.

JEL Classification

The manuscript should include JEL classification which is the code to classify the field of science in line with the research topic. The classification code may refer to this link: https://www.aeaweb.org/econlit/jelCodes.php or https://www.aeaweb.org/jel/guide/jel.php

Introduction

The introduction contains the substance of the articles according to topics and the purpose, especially the reasons both theoretical and empirical background of writing the manuscript. Express the theoretical concepts, ideas, as well as the findings of previous studies, useful as a comparison and as well strengthening, enrichment as well as sharpening the discussion, analysis, and interpretations. The presentation should be coherent chronological order. The connection between the logic of the first paragraph with the following should be clear.

Hypotheses Development (Optional)

A supposition or explanation (theory and empirical) that is provisionally accepted in order to interpret certain events or phenomena, and to provide guidance for further investigation. A hypothesis may be proven correct or wrong and must be capable of refutation. If it remains unrefuted by facts, it is said to be verified or corroborated.

Methods

The method is theoretical and technical information sufficient for the reader can reproduce the research well, especially important to put forward about the research design, population and sample, data (types and source), data collection technique, and data analysis technique (analysis model).

Results

The result presented in systemic. Narration in the results contain information extracted from the data; it’s not as it is. The illustration has to referred in the text; it presented the data processed not raw data (if necessary data reduction).

Discussion

The discussion is an express interpretation of the results, to answer the research objectives and hypotheses (optional). The discussion and data presentation is the same sequence. There was a development argument by correlating results, theory, and opinion, including comparative results of previous research. It is important to state the possibility of contribution result of the research for science development.

Conclusion

Conclusion interpret results and discussion of research for more comprehensive.

Suggestions

Suggestions intended for practical action (the company which studies), for development of new theory, and further research.

Citation

Citation in the text made in the format of name and year, such: Suhardjanto & Miranti (2009) for beginning the sentence, and (Wahyudi, 2010) for the end of a sentence. If there are more than two authors used et al. After the name of first author, such: Ettredge, et al. (2010). For more than one references, is based on the chronology of the year or alphabetical order if there is the same year. For example: (Arisudi & Gapor, 2010; Herdinata, 2010; Nursyamsi, 2010) or (Yuniarti, 2008, Budianto, 2009, Iriani & Gunarianto, 2010).

References

Reference arrange by following the procedures of the following example and sorted alphabetically and chronologically.
